MAC Member Update: Flu and Coronavirus Prevention and Control

The health and safety of our members and employees is our top priority. With that in mind, we are taking additional steps to be extra vigilant amid peak flu season and growing concerns around COVID-19 (coronavirus).

Currently, all club areas are disinfected daily with a hospital-grade solution. We are also introducing additional cleaning efforts and disinfecting procedures throughout the day as an extra precaution.

We encourage everyone to follow these best practices to help keep yourself and others healthy:
  • Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds, especially after going to the bathroom; before eating; and after blowing your nose, coughing, or sneezing.
  • Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth with unwashed hands.
  • Stay home if you have symptoms of a cold, flu or are feeling unwell.
  • Cover your cough or sneeze with a tissue, then throw the tissue in the trash.
  • Utilize the disinfectant wipes available throughout the club to wipe down weights, machines and other equipment before and after each use.

As the situation is evolving, please refer to the following resources for the latest updates:

Thank you for your cooperation and assistance in adhering to these important guidelines.

To your health,

Mount Auburn Club Management
