Sometimes as therapists we tend to throw around ingredient names but often forget that our clients may not know what we're referring to. With that said here are some simple explanations courtesy of Decleor.com of some lesser known product ingredients:

BRIGHT WHITE (COMPLEX) Origin: Europe & Asia

Obtained from Scutellaria baicalensis, Saxifraga sarmentosa, Vitis vinifera, Morus bombycis
Properties: brightens the complexion, reduces the coloring of pigment spots

KUDZU (EXTRACT) Origin:  Asia

Extract of Pueraria lobata roots
Properties: calms, relieves, soothes sensitive skins by blocking the inflammation mechanism

 

NEROLI (ESSENTIAL OIL) Origin: Tunisia

Essential oil obtained by distilling Citrus Aurantium Amara flower buds 

Properties: revitalises, softens the skin


  

 

SAIKO (EXCLUSIVE PATCH) Origin: Japan

Extract of Bupleurum falcatum root

Properties: firming and filling.

 

YLANG YLANG (ESSENTIAL OIL)  Origin: Comoros

Essential oil obtained by distilling Canaga odorata flowers
Properties: revitalizes, purifies and restores balance to the skin

Choosing the "correct" facial can be a bit overwhelming. Not to mention many of the options themselves seem unnecessary. Often times clients don't know their skin type or have more than one specific concern. By offering customized facials we are allowing you to get the best results possible in the allotted time. But don't worry, even if you are a person of routine we will ensure you experience the same treatment each time you see your skin therapist. Each Esthetician keeps detailed records of which products were used, techniques each client enjoyed, and so on. Whether you are looking for a seasonal clean up, dealing with the effects of acne, or targeting Rosacea, all you need to do it choose the length of time you want to dedicate to your skin and we will do the rest!
